Downloading your video episodes is the first step to:
- Posting videos natively to Facebook and other social media sites
- Using videos offline (for example, in presentations and on in-branch displays)
- Archiving your entire video library
With Wistia, you can choose to download your It's a Money Thing episodes individually or all at once.
Downloading Individual Videos
From the Content Library Page, click on your folder and then click on the media you wish to download. This takes you to the Media Page.
From the Media Page, click on Download.
This will gives you the option to download media files and assets. You will see a range of video resolutions to choose from.
Click on the Download Asset icon to the right of your desired format. The file will begin downloading to your Downloads folder.
Note: Choose Uncompressed file for the highest-quality original video file that we uploaded to Wistia. 720p or 1080p works well on social media channels such as Facebook and Twitter. Episode Art / Thumbnail downloads a static thumbnail image from the selected episode.
Downloading All Videos
Note: Downloading your entire video library results in a large file size that, depending on your internet speed, may take several hours to download. Make sure you have a reliable internet connection and the hard drive space required before you begin.
To download your entire library of It’s a Money Thing videos in a single zip archive, start at the Folder Page.
From the Folder Page, click on Export All Media.
Click on the blue Download button.
Note: If you do not see the blue Download button, your full library exceeds 4 GBs and cannot be downloaded all at once. You will need to download media files individually.
The zip file containing all of your video episodes will begin downloading to your Downloads folder.
Note: Downloading your entire video library results in a large file size that some file extraction programs may not support. If you run into any issues opening (also known as ‘extracting’ or ‘unzipping’) your file after download, we recommend trying a different program like 7zip (Windows) or Keka (Mac OS X).
